وبات الشتات السوري، قمّة في القسوة في أعين كل البشر، إلا النظام الحاكم، ورأسه المستميت على السلطة، لاسيّما بعدما انتشرت صورة جثة الطفل السوري، التي قذفها البحر على شاطئ بودروم التركي.

Four people were rescued and the coastguard was continuing its search for five people still missing. Separately, a boat carrying six Syrians sank after leaving Akyarlar on the same route.
